How to Replace Component Modules

!Warning
There are No components available from sources other than Global Electronics, Ltd.  Use of components obtained from other sources will void warranty!

If the need arrises to remove or replace the daughterboard from the main (mother)  board please be aware:
1.  The keypad should have its power removed.  Note Figure 2.  The 4 position connector on the left, has been removed.  This is where the power and the data wiring is located.

2.  Be sure that the pins on each end mate properly. If they do not, on one or both ends, the keypad will NOT communicate with the Controller software.

3.  Each of the six (6) pins, on both sides of the board, need to mate.  If the daughterboard/module is out of alignment on one or both ends, the Keypad will not communicate with the Controller.
